About Us

Compassionate mental health and addiction care rooted in Western Kentucky—helping our community recover, rebuild, and thrive.

Our Story

Lumera Healthcare was born from Western Kentucky’s resilience and a shared belief that recovery from mental health and addiction should feel welcoming, human, and effective. Our mission is to help the community recover and rebuild—not by relying on hospitalization as the only answer, but by making compassionate, high-quality care accessible and close to home.

Our Approach

At Lumera, psychiatry and psychotherapy work together—a coordinated team delivering innovative, evidence-based treatments tailored to each person. We specialize in care for children, teens, and adults, offering individualized plans that meet people where they are and support them as they move from crisis to stability to thriving.

The Lumera Experience

This is the heart of Lumera: a calm, professional space that’s never sterile or intimidating; a place where people find clarity, connection, and hope. Every visit is a step toward being the brightest you—for yourself, your family, and our Kentucky community.

The Ripple Effect

Healing never happens in isolation. When one life changes, it sends out waves that touch families, relationships, and entire communities. That’s the ripple effect.
A droplet falls into water, creating concentric ripples.

Our Commitment to Community

These stories remind us that mental health care doesn’t just change individuals—it strengthens families, classrooms, workplaces, and entire communities.

With five facilities across Western Kentucky and a growing team of dedicated professionals—including licensed clinicians, psychiatric providers, targeted case managers, support staff, and administrative leaders—we are honored to walk alongside thousands of Kentuckians on their journey toward healing.

We continue to build Lumera to be a place where every person, including you, has the opportunity to Be the Brightest You.
