Absolutely changed my whole life, thank you Lumera. They believed in me when I couldn’t and wouldn’t. Now I’m unstoppable at my recovery and mental health. I highly recommend the Intensive outpatient program it saved my life.
For Adults, Teens, and Children
Medication alone is not always the answer. At Lumera Healthcare, our psychiatric team works alongside your therapist so your whole treatment plan moves in the same direction.
Mental health providers are spread thin across this region. Psychiatrists even more so. Most patients here have experienced one of two things – either a long wait to see someone, or a brief appointment that ends with a prescription and little else.
That model works for some people. For many, it doesn’t.
At Lumera Healthcare, our psychiatric team is built into the same organization as our therapy team. Your psychiatrist and your therapist communicate directly. Your treatment plan doesn’t live in two separate offices that never talk to each other. When something isn’t working, we adjust together – not six months later when you’ve already had to start over somewhere else.
We see adults, teens, and children across Paducah, Murray, and Mayfield.
Telehealth psychiatric appointments are available for all Kentucky residents.
We accept all major insurance, including: Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, and self-pay.
Patients can drive themselves to treatment and it can take as little as 19 minutes. It’s a way to stimulate the nerve cells in the brain, helping target key areas that may be underactive for those struggling with depression or OCD. NOTE: TMS is FDA approved for patients 15 and above.
Our facial therapy, also known as facial neuromodulation, involves botulinum toxin injections into the glabellar region of your face. Studies published in the National Library of Medicine have shown that this treatment can reduce symptoms of mild to moderate depression, with effects lasting 3-4 months from just one session.
Experience the rejuvenating benefits of our IV Vitamin Therapy, offering a range of options for those seeking stress relief, hydration, migraine relief, immunity boosts, and more. This quick, relaxing therapy delivers essential nutrients directly into your bloodstream, enhancing overall wellness.
Absolutely changed my whole life, thank you Lumera. They believed in me when I couldn’t and wouldn’t. Now I’m unstoppable at my recovery and mental health. I highly recommend the Intensive outpatient program it saved my life.

My husband is getting insight into his feelings, our daughter is learning coping mechanisms, our granddaughter is also learning to deal with life. We are each learning survival skills & growing skills. Excellent experience!

I am 102 days sober thanks to the accountability of groups and meetings and also the resources l’ve gotten from their classes. I owe them for a second chance at life and I mean that dearly!

Lumera Healthcare has been a life saver for me. I began seeing Lumera Healthcare about a year and a half ago for management of major depression and anxiety. They have gone out of their way to ensure I had the medication & therapy I needed.

Most behavioral health providers in this region operate one of two ways. Either they offer therapy only and refer out for psychiatry – meaning you’re managing two separate relationships, two separate records, and two providers who may never speak to each other. Or they offer brief medication management appointments with little therapeutic support around them.
Lumera operates differently. Our psychiatric team and our therapy team are part of the same organization. When both services are part of your treatment plan, your providers coordinate directly. Your therapist knows what your psychiatrist is doing. Your psychiatrist knows what’s happening in your therapy sessions. Adjustments happen together rather than in isolation.
For patients with complex needs – dual diagnosis, treatment-resistant depression, trauma alongside a mood disorder – that coordination is not a convenience. It changes the quality of care.
We’ve kept the process short on purpose. Here’s what happens after you reach out.
Takes a few minutes. We ask enough to understand your situation, nothing more.
With appointment time options that work for your schedule. You don't have to chase us down.
This covers permission to treat and insurance information so we can handle billing on our end.
A conversation with a Lumera clinician to understand your needs and match you with the right therapist. Low pressure, no expectations beyond showing up.
Lumera Healthcare holds CARF accreditation, a third-party quality standard that most behavioral health providers in Western Kentucky do not. It means our clinical processes and outcomes are held to internationally recognized standards. Verify our accreditation at carf.org.
TMS therapy and esketamine treatment for treatment-resistant depression are available in Western Kentucky through Lumera. Patients no longer need to travel to Nashville or Louisville for advanced psychiatric care.
Particularly for children and teens, we emphasize reducing medication reliance where clinically appropriate rather than defaulting to it. Medicine is one option in a broader treatment plan.
Your psychiatrist and therapist work within the same organization and coordinate on your care. No siloed treatment. No starting over every time you need a different level of support.
We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major commercial insurance. Self-pay rates and a sliding scale fee program based on family size and income are available for patients without adequate coverage.
Psychiatric appointments via telehealth are available for all Kentucky residents. Rural access limitations should not determine whether someone gets care.
You don’t need to have the right words or a clear diagnosis before you reach out. Fill out a short form or call us directly – someone from our team will follow up the next business day with appointment options at the location closest to you.
Serving Paducah, Murray, Mayfield, and the surrounding Western Kentucky communities. Telehealth available statewide.
